Academic Graduation Ceremonies 2023
For two days at the end of September 2023, the wonderful surroundings of the auditorium in Grafenegg were the setting for the Academic Graduation Ceremony of the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences.
On Wednesday, 20 September, the 25 graduates of the Bachelor of Psychology and 8 graduates of the Master of Psychology celebrated their academic graduation in a joint event. The diplomas were handed over by Prorector Mag.a Sabine Siegl-Amerer and Head of Psychology Programme Dr. Jürgen Goller in the festive setting of the Grafenegg Auditorium.
One day later, on Thursday, 21 September, 65 graduates of the Bachelor Medical Science and 47 graduates of the Master Human Medicine graduated. The diplomas in the Bachelor's degree were handed over by Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manfred Wieser MSc MME and Head of Medical Science Bachelor Programme Ursula Föger-Samwald, PhD. Rector Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rudolf Mallinger, together with Vice Rector and Head of Human Medicine Master Programme Manfred Wieser, took over the ceremonial presentation of the diploma rolls in the completion of the Master's degree in Human Medicine.
Presentation of the Seaman Awards
At the same time, the Seaman Awards for outstanding scientific Master's theses in medical studies were presented. The science prizes are awarded in memory of the US-American physician and veterinarian Dr. Richard Seaman.
