  • Medical University of Vienna

  • Vienna University of Technology
    The Vienna University of Technology is Austria's largest research and educational institution in the field of technology and natural sciences. Scientists conduct research in five main research areas at eight faculties on "Technology for People"; in the field of education, bachelor's, master's, teacher training and doctoral programmes are offered.
  • MedAustron
    MedAustron researches and treats in ion therapy for cancer treatment. An innovative form of radiation therapy (ion therapy, particle therapy) using protons and carbon ions is used. Compared to conventional radiation therapy, this is gentler on the surrounding healthy tissue.
  • Province of Lower Austria
    With regard to the overall concept for the tertiary education sector, the province of Lower Austria is represented by the Department of Science and Research of the Office of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government. The operational tasks are fulfilled by the GFF - Society for Research Promotion Lower Austria m.b.H. and FM-Plus Facility Management GmbH.
