This contains an extensive range of electronic resources licensed for you by the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences:
Databases and e-journals such as ELSEVIER ScienceDirect, the WILEY Online Library, SPRINGER Compact, and top journals such as NEJM (New England Journal of Medicine), The Lancet, Science, CELL, all NATURE journals (current year), The BMJ, and many more are available to students and researchers at KL and its university clinics in Krems, Tulln and St. Pölten.
Use of KLever on site
on one of the KL PCs, in the KL WLAN or in Eduroam
You do not have to register separately: your IP address will automatically activate the full texts licensed by KL.
Tip: Read the instructions for our search portal KLever and our Journal Search function to speed up and improve your research.
Use of KLever via remote access
at a university hospital or on any network worldwide
All networks require remote access except those specified above as on site. Researchers seeking to retrieve the entire texts of licensed e-resources via the KLever search portal must meet two requirements:

OPEN KNOWLEDGE MAPS

Knowledge maps provide an instant overview of a topic, as the most important sub-areas are presented at a glance and linked to relevant resources and concepts.
UNPAYWALL
Use the browser extension from unpaywall.org (for Firefox and Chrome) to see if there is an open access version of ‘blocked’ items for purchase or otherwise. Often this throws up things like a post-print version of the article (i.e. the accepted manuscript).
