Commission on Ethics and Scientific Integrity
KL is committed to adhering to scientific and ethical standards in research and teaching. The Committee for Scientific Integrity and Ethics was set up for this purpose in accordance with the statutes of Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences (as at 25/1/2016).
Study registration
The Ethics Committee points out that according to good clinical practice guidelines (GCP), all projects must be registered by the study management team in a public register. KL has set up an account for KL researchers in the clinicaltrails.gov database for this purpose.

Legal basis
The Ethics Committee of Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences was set up on the basis of the relevant provisions of the following international guidelines and Austrian federal legislation.
