Statistics Consultancy
Quality in research is a high priority for KL. To ensure this quality as early as the formulation of research questions for the design of scientific studies, KL offers its researchers free "statistical consultations". This is intended to help formulate well thought-out research questions, to sustainably increase the quality of study designs and thus to enable high-quality publications that meet the high requirements for the quality of primary data in international peer review procedures.
Statistics consultations
Please contact the Division of Biostatistics and Data Science with your statistical questions: FBBiostatistik@kl.ac.at
Depending on the question, the consultation will be conducted by Dr Michael Weber (Basic) or the team of the division (Advanced). The initial consultation preferably takes place via MS Teams.
Division of Biostatistics and Data Science
In the field of medicine, more than in any other discipline, the answering of scientific questions is linked to a well-founded evaluation of observed effects and the proof of possible evidence. This determines forms of therapy, appropriate interventions and, ultimately, the state of health of patients.
