Partners and network

Educational enterprises need support – not only in the start-up phase, but also in day-to-day operations – and mutual exchange with partner enterprises is important. KL has begun to establish a suitable network for this purpose.

  • University of Continuing Education Krems
    The University of Continuing Education Krems (Universität für Weiterbildung Krems or UWK, formerly Donau-Universität Krems) is the leading public university for continuing education in Europe. It uses its expertise in teaching and research to tackle societal problems. Almost 50 per cent of the courses on offer are in the fields of medicine and health. 
  • IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems
    The IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems (IMC Fachhochschule Krems) was awarded the status of a university of applied sciences in 2002. It has almost 2,500 students enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in the fields of business, health sciences and life sciences, some of which are also taught in English.
  • University of Basel
    The University of Basel is the oldest university in Switzerland (1460). It acquired the status of a fully autonomous university with a right to self-government in 1996. It is funded by the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft. The University of Basel has more than 13,000 students, with one in five coming from outside Switzerland. It ranks among the top 10 universities in the German-speaking world.
  • Lower Austria Provincial Health Agency
    The Lower Austria Provincial Health Agency (NÖ Landesgesundheitsagentur) is the largest health service provider in Austria and brings together 27 hospitals and 50 nursing, care and support centres in Lower Austria under one roof.
