Statement of KL University to war in Ukraine
Karl Landsteiner Private University of Health Sciences is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of health in teaching and research, we are therefore deeply shocked by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which is destroying thousands of lives.
As part of an open, free and international scientific community, we condemn both the aggression in Ukraine and the restriction of freedom of expression in Russia. KL stands in solidarity with the Russian scientists who are courageously petitioning against the military actions of their own country. Our thoughts are with the people in both countries who long for and support a peaceful resolution of this conflict.
To alleviate the plight of the Ukrainian people, we ask for your support for fundraising campaigns such as Nachbar in Not, Red Cross or Medicins Sans Frontiers (Ärzte ohne Grenzen).
