Help the Austrian Woman´s National Team of Flag Football to make the dream of the world champion come true!
Annika Wendschlag, student of Master Human Medicine, is a successful player in the Austrian Flag-Football national team in addition to her studies at the KL. Flag-Football is a marginal sport in Austria and is the low contact variant of American Football. What many people don't even know is that Austria is a great power in flag football. The women's national team in particular has dominated international tournaments for years. The women's team is 5 times in a row European Champion and Vice World Champion.
This year the World Cup will take place in Panama from 9-12 August 2018. At this World Cup the team would like to win the last missing gold medal!
Flag-Football as a marginal sport unfortunately receives almost no subsidies and the players have to pay a part of the travel costs of EUR 7.500,00 themselves. For this reason we have agreed to support the ladies in crowdfunding. Depending on the amount of your donation, the players and staff will give you something in return after or during the World Cup!
