Exchange of ideas concerning Nursing Science in Bergen/Norway

At a planned meeting with Prof. Kari Martinsen and Prof. Herdis Alvsvag, Norway's most renowned nursing scientists, an intensive exchange of ideas took place on the current development of professional nursing.

For Dr. Eleonore Kemetmüller, head of the Department of Nursing Science at the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences, the discussion on the relevance of phenomenology to nursing was of particular interest. Especially since Kari Martinsen is one of the few European nursing scientists who deals with this topic due to her study of philosophy. During a joint visit to an Edvard Munch exhibition in Bergen, the term "phenomena" was discussed even more vividly.
