Dissection course in BA Health Sciences completed with farewell ritual
The knowledge students acquire through the systematic dissection of human body donations is very valuable for their medical training.
Throughout the third year of their medical studies, the students got to know the human body in detail during the dissection course at the Anatomy Department of the University Hospital St.Pölten. The knowledge students acquire through the systematic dissection of human body donations is very valuable for their medical training. From the beginning the course was characterized by great respect of the students towards the body donors. On this last day in the dissecting room, the focus was not only on the experiences gained during the academic year. The students and teachers of KL thanked and said goodbye to their body donations with a minute's silence. A very emotional and for all very important moment, which will certainly be remembered by all involved.
