Mutter-Kind-Interaktion bei peripartaler Depression

Recent publication

The case report from Tulln University Hospital published in the "Journalpsychopraxis. neuropraxis" focuses on the effects of peripartum depression on the mother-child relationship. Based on the case description, the two doctors show the circumstances and efforts to treat the mother and improve the mother-child relationship. Recognising and treating postpartum depression is important to ensure the best possible outcome for mother and child. A parent-child ward is being set up at Tulln University Hospital to provide adequate care for affected families. Until now, mother and child have had to be accommodated on two different wards if inpatient treatment is necessary. Thanks to funding from KL, the case report has been published open access.
