Teaching and research locations

Our partnerships with the university hospitals in Krems, St. Pölten and Tulln, and with the Waldviertel Psychosomatic Centre and MedAustron, allow us to offer KL students opportunities to gain practical experience during their studies.

The hospitals in Krems, St. Pölten and Tulln are university hospitals of KL and thus play a decisive role in the future of education, science and research in Lower Austria. In addition to patient care, the three university hospitals are also engaged in clinical research and teaching and thus provide practical training for medical students at KL.
