Felty’s syndrome

Recent publication

Felty's syndrome is a tirade of rheumatoid arthritis, splenomegaly and leucopenia. First described 100 years ago, the pathogenesis of the disease is still poorly understood, making diagnosis and treatment challenging. In their paper published in Frontiers in Medicine, authors from the Division of Internal Medicine 2 at the University Hospital St. Pölten describe the current state of knowledge on pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and epidemiology. They provide an overview of differential diagnosis and treatment options. The publication is freely available thanks to open access funding from Karl Landsteiner University.
