Researchers from the Division of General and Family Medicine and their colleagues from the Medical University of Vienna, conducted qualitative interviews with 30 general practitioners from primary care facilities of different sizes. They asked about factors that promote and hinder Covid-19 pandemic care, as well as the doctors' views and experiences. The authors highlight the wide range of tasks performed by primary care doctors during the pandemic and describe how they responded in different ways, individually and with a high level of personal commitment. The study, published openly in the journal BMC Health Services Research, aims to provide important input into the reform to strengthen general practice
