Networking event at the university hospitals

Adapting research funding opportunities to the demands of the KL sites is an important goal for the future. Networking between researchers from the different clinical divisions as well as between university hospitals is therefore necessary and supports both the individual researcher and the quality of clinical research at the university hospitals. The next networking meeting will take place on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, at the University Hospital Krems, starting at 3 pm. All employees of the University Hospitals of St. Pölten, Krems and Tulln, who are active and interested in research, are welcome. Review RTO Meeting 2023

Researchers from the KL university hospitals met at the "RTO Meeting 2023" in September at St. Pölten University Hospital. Both researchers who make use of the funding instrument "Research Time Out (RTO)" and other research-active doctors took part in the networking meeting. They  exchanged information about their research, goals and projects. Staff members of the Research Management Unit presented different possibilities for research funding by KL within the framework of the "Forschungsimpulse" programme. Successes, obstacles and possibilities for improvement were discussed. The informal setting offered the opportunity to hold potential introductory talks with KL-internal research cooperation partners and also colleagues on duty could drop by and take part in the discussion round.
