Material gerontology – Central thematic intersections and blurring boundaries
Recent publication
Dr Vera Gallist-Kassig, BA MA writes together with colleagues from German-speaking countries in the editorial of the 68th issue of the "Journal of Aging Studies" about material gerontology. The authors explain how this new branch of research deals methodically, theoretically and conceptually with the materiality of age and ageing. They shed light on new research perspectives and emerging challenges to the materialist view of age and ageing and also emphasise the discussion of suitable methods and corresponding methodological development in the papers in the special issue.
