Researchers conducted a literature review to identify the impact, scope and competencies of experienced nurses (Advanced Practice Nurses) involved in the care of multimorbid or chronically ill young and middle-aged adults in hospital. The results are presented in descriptive tables and have been published freely available in BMJ Open. Prof. Dr Hanna Mayer, Head of the Division of Nursing Science with a focus on Person-centred Care Research, is the senior author of the article.
