Case report of a 57-year-old patient with acute hyperammonemic encephalopathy at University Hospital St. Pölten. The paper, published in the Neuroradiology Journal, is the first to correlate characteristic MRI features with post-mortem neuropathological findings. The paper reviews the current literature on acute hyperammonemic encephalopathy and its differentiation from encephalopathies of other causes.
