Arterial occlusions in the retina can lead to loss of vision. A team from the Division of Ophthalmology at St. Pölten University Hospital has summarised the development, risk factors, existing therapies and the best management of the disease in a systematic literature review. The work has been published open access in the journal "Medicina".
