A simpler diagnosis of morphological changes in the optic nerve head could be possible with a light-field fundus camera. For evaluation, the 3D images of the light field fundus camera of 17 healthy subjects were compared with the images of the optical coherence tomography. Sascha Klee is head of the Division of Biostatistics and Data Science and senior author of the study. He is also a visiting professor at the TU Illmenau.
