Current status and future perspectives - Report from the 2nd international radiation oncology online seminar

In October 2022, the 2nd international online seminar organised by the European Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO) was held at MedAustro, a KL teaching and research centre. The focus was on spatially fractionated radiotherapy. While conventional radiotherapy cannot prolong life or improve quality of life in complex tumours, there are promising innovative, unconventional methods. In the seminar, different radiotherapy approaches will be discussed.
