Mitigating Bias in Scientific Evaluation and Decision-Making Processes

The German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) points out on its website that distortions, i.e. bias, can also occur in scientific funding decisions. The aim is to ensure that funding decisions are not influenced by non-scientific factors and that no individuals are excluded.
