Analysis of Clinical Associate Professor Dr Dieter Dammerer and Dr Johannes Neugebauer, both from the Clinical Division of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University Hospital Krems, with colleagues from Tyrol and Lower Austria on the success of brachytherapy for soft tissue sarcomas in the extremities. The authors examined the recurrence rate in 35 patients treated at the University Hospital for Orthopaedics in Innsbruck between 2010 and 2016. Primary Dr Dieter Dammerer moved from Innsbruck to the Clinical Division of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Krems University Hospital in January 2022. The results have been published open access in "Cancers".
