Dr Mats Leifels, PostDoc at the Division of Water Quality and Health, has summarised the possibilities and current problems in wastewater monitoring of Sars-CoV-2 in a chapter of the Handbook of Environmental Chemistry. In addition to best practice examples, possible applications of Sars-CoV-2 monitoring with only few resources available are presented.
