Based on a literature review on the topic of anxiety symptoms and bariatric surgery, researchers from the Research Centre Transitional Psychiatry investigated the influence of different bariatric surgeries on anxiety symptoms in obese adults. 30 studies met the inclusion criteria and provided data from a total of 2228 subjects.
The results of the study have been published in the Journal of Bariatric Surgery Open Access.
