There are 24 University Departments at the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences (KL). These are located at the three clinic locations in Krems, St. Pölten and Tulln. The hospitals are not only responsible for the care of the patients, they are also training centres for the prospective doctors of the KL University. Within the framework of "Bedside Teaching", students in the Master's programme in Human Medicine are integrated into the daily clinical life.
