The Department of Clinical Psychology is located at the Krems campus of Karl Landsteiner Private University (Building UA, 1st floor).

Main research topics:

• Positive psychology as a theoretical and normative framework for resilience, post-traumatic growth, subjective well-being, and the study of strengths
• Trauma-related disorders (including the positive and negative effects of trauma)
• Evaluation and further development of interdisciplinary inpatient treatment for mental disorders
• Culture- and gender-specific aspects of mental disorders
