University Library

(c) Donau-Universität Krems/Walter Skokanitsch

As part of the cooperation agreement with Danube University Krems, all KL students, lecturers and academic staff have access to the Campus Library Krems.

It is also open to the public. A reference section with a list of highly recommended books, which is tailored to the needs of KL’s degree programmes, is being gradually expanded. Your student ID card serves as proof of eligibility and identity, allowing you to borrow books, make interlibrary loans and request unlicensed journal articles.

KL students and staff are automatically registered in the library at the beginning of each semester.

Students can read books in the library or borrow them, and carry out research in the library’s online databases and other electronic resources. At present, the library’s online databases cannot be accessed remotely. The expert library staff are on hand to provide training and information.

Campus Library Krems

Joint strategic approaches are currently being developed and implemented at the campus, as part of the Open Access and Open Science movement.
