Medical University of Vienna
One of the largest medical universities in Europe, the Medical University of Vienna has a total of 7,500 students on its Medicine and Dentistry degree and PhD programmes. The university has partnerships with numerous teaching hospitals, including Tulln University hospital.

Vienna University of Technology
Vienna University of Technology, Austria’s largest university of technology and natural sciences, has eight faculties, with over 29,000 students enrolled in its bachelor’s and master’s degree, teacher training and doctoral programmes.

MedAustron
MedAustron researches and treats ion therapy for cancer therapy. An innovative form of radiation therapy (ion therapy, particle therapy) using protons and carbon ions is used. Compared to conventional radiation therapy, this is more gentle on the surrounding healthy tissue.

Province of Lower Austria
The Culture and Science Department of the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government represents the province in the planning of tertiary education services. Day-to-day operations are the responsibility of GFF - Gesellschaft für Forschungsförderung Niederösterreich m.b.H. and Life Science Krems GmbH.
