A specially designed laboratory infrastructure was created in the course of planning and construction work in the new university building of KL for the division Water Quality and Health. Key technologies in the laboratory are currently molecular biological (DNA- & RNA-diagnostics) and cytometric analysis of microorganisms (e.g. fluorescence-activated cell sorting).
The laboratory equipment of the Department of Water Quality and Health is specialized in molecular biology, cytometry, cultivation and microscopy.
