Scopus

Scopus is a multidisciplinary citation database with references and citations to approx. 48,000 different peer-reviewed journals. It contains journal metrics, displays the most important publications and authors in a subject area and offers a wide range of search and search alert options as well as visualization tools. Scopus is accessible within the KL IP environment without login. From outside the KL, e.g. in home office or in distance learning, you need your OpenCampus login data for authentication.

Instructions for remote access

1. If you are outside the KL network (the internal WLAN of university hospitals is also "outside" the KL), you will only see a preview of the citation database on Scopus, Scopus Preview. Click on “Check access” at the top right:

2. Type "Karl Landsteiner..." into the search bar. "Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences" will appear as a suggestion - click on it:

3. Click on "Access through Karl Landsteiner Privatuniversität": 

4. Log in here with your OpenCampus login (= email address) and password:

5. You are now authenticated as a KL member and can use the full version of Scopus:
