LibKey Nomad & LibKey.io
LibKey Nomad: Browser Extension finds fulltexts while surfing
LibKey is a browser extension that searches for possible download options for e-resources on all websites. If the desired resource is available via KL, LibKey automatically generates a download button. This means that full texts can be found and downloaded with just one click.
The following link will take you directly to the download of the LibKey browser extension for your preferred browser (choose from Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Vivaldi and Safari): https://thirdiron.com/downloadnomad/
When you first log in, select “Karl Landsteiner University of Health Services” once and LibKey will be activated.
And this is how it works:
LibKey now either creates a pop-up in the bottom left corner of your browser or appears as a small button on the current website (e.g. on PubMed, Scopus orScienceDirect)
When you click on the pop-up or the button, LibKey checks your acces options to the respective full text via the KL Online Library (this means you get licensed content from KLever - but without having to actually use KLever!).
In addition, KL's Library Services offer the option of contacting a librarian directly via the WhatsApp link in the pop-up in order to receive help in real time.

LibKey.io: Quick search via DOI or PubMed-ID
On LibKey.io you can search for articles using DOI or PubMed-ID and - if accessible to KL members - you will be taken directly to the full text you are looking for.
As with LibKey Nomad (see above), the "Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences" must also be selected when using LibKey.io for the first time.
After you have entered a valid DOI or a valid PubMed ID in the search slot, LibKey.io checks access to the full text via the KL Online Library.
If you have any further questions, please contact the KL Library Services team.
