Ombuds Office for Students
In larger organisational and institutional structures, such as KL is now, low-threshold and non-hierarchical approaches to solving complaints are needed, as well as impartial, confidential and mediating action. Such services include ombudsperson offices that deal with the mediation and resolution of problems for groups of people or processes.
For this reason, our university has decided to establish an Ombuds Office for Students and to implement an ombudsperson. The target group includes applicants, students and graduates of Karl Landsteiner University. Since 01/12/2024 the role of ombudsperson is assumed by Nina Kirchmayer, MSc, BA. Students' concerns can best be submitted by email ombudsstelle@kl.ac.at. Personal counselling is also possible by appointment.
