The extension of Campus Krems was officially opened by Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and Deputy Governor Stephan Pernkopf in the presence of the three users Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences (KL Krems), University of Continuing Education Krems (UWK) and IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems (IMC Krems) as well as numerous guests of honour at a ceremony on Monday, 3 June 2024.

The "FIT4YOUniversity" event is just around the corner and KL is once again involved as a project partner of IMC FH! Within the framework of workshops, young people between the ages of 14 and 19 will have the opportunity to get a taste of university life and experience science and research at first hand.
The Junge Uni was a great success again this year! And KL was enthusiastically involved on 13 July - the "Health Day" - as a partner of IMC FH. More than 100 children and young people took part in KL lectures and workshops to get to know the world of research and science.

On Wednesday, 31 August 2022, the Federal Minister for Education, Science and Research, Martin Polaschek, visited the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences in Krems (KL Krems) for the first time.

Due to the special situation around COVID-19, the organizers of the Campus Ball Krems, Danube University Krems, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences, have decided to cancel the ball planned for 27 June 2020.

At the beginning of October KL University was again the location for the shooting of the film "Little Joe" by coop99 filmproduktion. The hall, the foyer and the outside area of the university will be shown in the film, which is scheduled for release in 2019.

The Core Facility at the Krems campus was opened on 9th October with a ceremony attended by Johanna Mikl-Leitner, governess of Lower Austria.

Last Saturday, art lovers visited the KL to view Christian Schwarzwald's artwork "Zell" installed in the foyer.

Four students ran at the 2nd Frauenlauf Grafenegg for KL University. Congratulations to all runners. Emma Persad was even ranked with the 1st place in her age group in the 10km-distance.

The 12th CityRun Krems was very successful event for the KL Running Team! The team collected a lot of prices and celebrated extensively.
