Ultrasound-guided minimally invasive thread release

Recent publication

The Medical University of Vienna has been working on a minimally invasive ultrasound technique to treat various conditions of the hand and forearm. The ultrasound techniques have been tested for safety and efficacy on cadaveric specimens. The Division of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at KL, headed by Prof. Dr Johann Streicher, participated in the study. The results were published in three open access papers in the journals 'European radiology experimental' and 'Radiologia Medica'.
