The article by Univ.-Prof. Mag.a Dr.in Hanna Mayer and Martin Wallner BSc MA from the Division of Nursing Science with a focus on Person-Centred Care Research highlights how theory and practice influence each other in person-centered care. The authors show that theoretical concepts can be further developed through practical experience and, conversely, that theory provides an important basis for high-quality care. An example is used to illustrate how this exchange works in practice and what added value it has for nursing practice.
