A systematic review and meta-analysis on the efficacy of dialectical behavior therapy variants

With the participation of Dr Claudia Oppenauer, PostDoc in the Department of Clinical Psychology, the effectiveness of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in people with additional symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) was investigated. The study showed significant improvements in dissociative symptoms, BPD-associated complaints and the reduction of self-injurious behaviour.
