Solitary Fibrous Tumor

The special issue Solitary Fibrous Tumor, edited by OA Clin. Ass. Prof. PD Dr. Bahil Ghanim PhD, highlights a rare tumor disease of mesenchymal origin. The contributions range from review articles to original research papers and cover both translational and clinical sciences. Key topics include new approaches to the therapy and management of these difficult-to-treat tumors, which are often unpredictable and can recur despite complete removal. Particular emphasis will be placed on advances in genetic characterization, the development of risk stratification models and promising new systemic therapeutic approaches.
