Skills Schecks 2026
Funding info
The Skills Schecks 2026 support companies in Austria in the further training of their employees with a focus on digitalisation and sustainability. The aim is to strengthen skilled workers for the ecological and digital transformation in line with the Industrial Strategy 2035. External training courses are subsidised with up to 5,000 euros per person with a maximum of 50% of the costs covered. The programme is particularly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises that want to improve their competitiveness. Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis until 15 December 2026 at the latest.
Support from the KL Research Service
- Strategic advice on the project application and any issues relating to your research project
- Searching for suitable cooperation partners
- Assistance with developing your ideas and proposal checking
- Assistance with meeting the requirements of the funding guidelines and internal KL guidelines
- Administrative support with obtaining approval for research projects from the KL rector’s office
