Same-day discharge after percutaneous coronary procedures
Consensus statement of the working group of interventional cardiology (AGIK) of the Austrian Society of Cardiology
Recent publication
Medical advances have made coronary interventions safer for patients and enable outpatient interventions. The Interventional Cardiology Working Group of the Austrian Cardiological Society has published a consensus paper on the safe implementation of coronary outpatient clinics in Austria in the Central European Journal of Medicine. The aim is to ensure that patients are discharged earlier without any safety concerns. Julia Mascherbauer, Head of the Division of Internal Medicine 3 at St. Pölten University Hospital, is a member of the working group and co-author.
