REAL-Colon: A dataset for developing real-world AI applications in colonoscopy

AI-based computer systems for detecting intestinal polyps during endoscopy improve its efficiency. Researchers provide a comprehensive, freely accessible data set with high image and data quality for the further development of AI-based systems. The Clinical Department of Internal Medicine 2 at KL University Hospital St. Pölten was involved in the creation of the Real-world multi-centre Endoscopy annotated video library, REaL-Colon-Datenset. Further information was published in the journal ‘Scientific data’.
