Patterns of practice of image guided particle therapy for brain tumours : A site specific multi-institutional survey of the European particle therapy network

Recent Publication

A new study shows how European centres use image-guided proton therapy for brain tumours. Seven specialised institutions were surveyed - including KL's teaching and research location, MedAustron. The results show: There are many similarities, but also differences, for example in imaging or patient positioning. The study helps to develop standards and support new centres in introducing the method. It was published in the journal Physica Medica.
