Nursing effectiveness reconsidered

Some fundamental reflections on the nature of nursing

In an article in the journal ‘Nursing Philosophy’, the Division of Nursing Science at KL discusses the scientific evidence for the effect of nursing services. Differences between subjective and objective effectiveness are highlighted and suggestions for research designs are developed. The main aim is to better capture nursing services in theory-based models and thus provide scientific evidence of their effectiveness.
