Multi-region investigation of 'man' as default in attitudes

A new, wide-ranging study, in which the Department of Psychological Methodology at KL was also involved, has investigated whether opinions about groups of people are often unconsciously thought of men as the “standard”. It turned out that for dark-skinned people and politicians, opinions about the group were indeed more closely related to opinions about the men in these groups. Surprisingly, the opposite was true for white people: here, the reference to white women was stronger. For other groups, however, there was no clear “male standard”.
