Mid-Term Migration Pattern of a Cemented Collared Anatomical Stem
A Retrospective Study Using EBRA-FCA
Recent publication
In a German-Austrian collaboration, scientists investigated how the longevity of a hip implant can be predicted. The researchers retrospectively analysed the data of 61 patients who had received a specific cemented implant in the femur. The migration patterns of the implant were determined using Einzel Bild Röntgen Analyse–Femoral Component Analysis software. The medical history and the patients' body mass index were also included in the examination. The study was published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine thanks to the KL's open access funding.
