In a chapter of the book “Principles of Immunotherapy Breast and Gastrointestinal Cancers”, the authors, including Dr. Theresa Lentner, shed light on the complex molecular processes that lead to resistance to immunotherapies. They explain how the immune system works and why immunotherapies do not work for all patients, especially in metastatic cancers.
