Mag. Sabine Siegl-Amerer confirmed as Prorector and Managing Director of KL
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Andrea Olschewski, designated Rector of Karl Landsteiner University (KL Krems), has nominated Mag. Sabine Siegl-Amerer as Prorektor and Managing Director following the hearing process. The proposal was confirmed by the selection committee. The experienced economic expert in the field of higher education and education is set to continue her successful work at KL Krems in February 2026.
The General Assembly of Karl Landsteiner Privatuniversität für Gesundheitswissenschaften GmbH (KL GmbH) has endorsed the recommendation of Univ.-Prof. DDr. Andrea Olschewski, MSc, the designated Rector and Managing Director of Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences, and unanimously approved the nomination of Mag. Sabine Siegl-Amerer as Prorektor and Managing Director.
The decision of the General Assembly was made following an international call for applications, a multi-stage selection process, and personal interviews with the final candidates. The decision was made during an extraordinary meeting. The General Assembly is now in contract negotiations with Sabine Siegl-Amerer. Afterward, the new management board will be officially presented.
“With Sabine Siegl-Amerer, the successful course of the private university is guaranteed to continue,” emphasizes Univ.-Prof. DDr. Andrea Olschewski, MSc, designated rector of Karl Landsteiner University, in explaining her decision. “As a proven economic expert in the field of higher education, but above all as a formative force at KL Krems from the very beginning, she will work with me to further advance the development of the private university. I look forward to working with my colleague, who is highly regarded by the KL team and all stakeholders.”
