The new research project "LINA - Lina Is Not Alone" shows how digital games can strengthen the classroom climate. The augmented reality game was specially developed for pupils aged 10 to 12 and is designed to promote a sense of togetherness in school classes. A study with 99 participants showed that LINA was well received, the theoretical concept worked well in practice and the children's sense of togetherness improved measurably. Especially in the transition period from primary school to secondary school, the game could help to strengthen social relationships and thus promote mental well-being.
