The “Leib” as a Bridging Concept

Recent Publication

A new article shows how the term "Leib" can help to better understand and treat psychological suffering. The "Leib" stands for the experienced body - i.e. what people feel and perceive - in contrast to the "body" as a medical object. In psychiatric and psychosomatic practice, non-verbal signals can thus be better recognised and used therapeutically. The article was published in the journal psychopraxis. neuropraxis .
