FTI Call Annual Programme 2026 – Call for proposals for five new FTI calls

The FTI Call 2026 programme in Lower Austria comprises five new calls with a total budget of 8.48 million euros to promote research and innovation. The calls cover various areas, including basic research, citizen science, research infrastructures, applied research and dissertations. The calls will be staggered over the course of 2026 and are based on the state's strategic priorities. The focus is particularly on collaborations, promoting young talent and expanding research capacities.
Support from the KL Research Service
- Strategic advice on the project application and any issues relating to your research project
- Searching for suitable cooperation partners
- Assistance with developing your ideas and proposal checking
- Assistance with meeting the requirements of the funding guidelines and internal KL guidelines
- Administrative support with obtaining approval for research projects from the KL rector’s office
